Our favorite destinations?
It is a country located in Southern Africa with deep Portuguese influences and 3,700km of coastline, largely untouched. Admittedly, it is a country we knew little of before visiting.
We’d heard about a brutal civil war not long ago, the gorgeous coastline, coral reefs, police corruption, marine life, terrible roads, and a spicy cuisine. We found all of that and more. Although, travel here is difficult it’s a rewarding journey, like much of Africa.
If we were forced to pick a favorite country to travel in it would have to be Japan. It’s a sentiment we often think about as every person we talk to ask for our favorite country to travel.
Not that it is a secret, I’ve noted numerous times on this travel blog that I absolutely adore Japan. This would explain why I plan to return year after year to the Land of the Rising Sun.
I’m not alone, countless friends, videos, documentaries, articles and others who truly feel the joys of traveling in Japan.
I’m not sure why we had been putting off traveling to Costa Rica for so long. They are close the US with cheap flights, the country is lush and green with amazing wildlife, and they have set a staple in the tourism for eco-tourism.
When we arrived we were blown away by how beautiful the forest was and how at peace with nature we felt. Then we considered that the beaches are still world class with white sand beaches and turquoise water. It’s seriously the ultimate vacation package for families, friends, and honeymooners!
