When it comes to planning the most romantic getaways, the world is filled with breathtaking destinations that set the stage for unforgettable experiences. Whether that’s exploring the “City of Love” in Italy, or strolling the streets of Paris with a baguette in hand, there are so many places to have an unforgettable trip with your loved one.
Coming from personal experiences together over the last 10 years of travel, here are some of our favorite places in the world for a romantic getaway.
The World’s Most Romantic Getaways
Galapagos Cruise
A cruise around the Galapagos is a bucket-list-worthy travel experience. If you and your lover are into wildlife sightings, it’s a must-visit destination and one of the most romantic getaways you can have.
A cruise is undoubtedly the best way to see the Galapagos Isles off the coast of Ecuador. The wildlife you can see on the relatively untouched islands is fantastic. That’s just what’s on land, as when you step off the gorgeous islands, you’ll find deep blue Pacific water abundant in marine life.
The Galapagos are unlike any other on earth, and it’s easy to understand how the islands inspired Charles Darwin. However, “unlike any other place on earth” usually come with a high price tag, and the Galapagos is no exception. However, if you’ve been saving for something special, this experience won’t disappoint.
