Our journey across Africa: A true African safari

In 2016 we set out on our African safari adventure. We drove overland across Africa for a year and it was the most incredible life experience. We learned so much about ourselves, the world, and Africa. We are Cameron and Natasha of The World Pursuit. One day we were sitting in Cape Town and thought it would be amazing to buy a car and travel Africa on our own.

To have the freedom to drive anywhere without many limitations sounded like an epic adventure. It took us one year to overland Africa through Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda.

We experienced Africa in all seasons and went on a heck of a lot of African safaris, met some beautiful people, and saw amazing landscapes. It wasn’t all peaches and cream, but we can’t wait to return one day.
